Say NO to Jeans this Summer!

Are you also dying this summer due to the scorching heat of the sun or are you also uncomfortable wearing jeans because they're just too tight to wear daily for the entire day?

Hello ladies,
Summer is already at its peak and we have done nothing wrong that we have to wear those tight jeans all day long. So here's my version of the loose ill fitted clothes that you can wear for the next few months and still look stylish. Trust me I am on a say no to jeans spree this summer and I can't wait to share my comfort stories of looking stylish. So, here are the five basics that you need to have to kill this heat.

1. Plain White top or shirt: All these bloggers are not wrong when they say that a plain basic white is the need of summers. Because a plain white top is all you need to style all the upcoming items on my list. So, first guys, please invest in a white basic top/shirt.

2. Midi skirts: I know it's not possible to wear those tight mini skirts always because come on, we have to go to our workplaces and need to maintain some decency there. It is where midi skirts come to our rescue. For me a midi skirt is something that is below my knees. Also I prefer them loose but you know what, you have a wide variety in the type of midi skirts you want to get into as per your event requirement like a pleated skirt for a party, a flowy printed skirt for a brunch, a pencil straight skirt for your office. You name it and I have it.

3. Culottes: Pronounced as 'Cu-lots', it is a cropped palazzo (almost one hand above your ankle) that you might know about or must have seen hung in the hangers all over your local markets. It is one of the best solutions for those who are a l'il hesitent about wearing skirts. You can style this cropped pant as I would love to call them with semi formal shirts, basic solid tops for an office formal look or with an off the shoulder, one shoulder, tube top and cute camisoles for a party look. You can also add a l'il summer vibe to them by pairing them up with a floral summery top for a brunch or breakfast date. You just got to see what the occasion is to style it right.

4. Palazzo Pants: To those who have a serious obsession of covering their skin entirely can go for palazzo pants. Go for as much flare as you can and prefer cotton, khadi and rayon fabrics over polyester, crepe and other symthetic fabrics. Reason is that these fabrics are not absorbant to sweat and end up sticking to your skin if you stay out in sun for long which will make it all the way more uncomfortable for you. So, prefer fabrics that are easy and breezy and stay comfortable because comfort is the first step to look stylish.

5. Maxi dresses/ kurti dresses/ long skirts: Wondering why did I put all of them in a single category? Oh, yes I have a reason to it. The reason is that I find all of them long enough in terms of their length and they still keep you easy and open to a lot of air. The best part is you don't need to get your legs waxed over and over again and can still slay any event or just a day at your office/college with a decent looking dress. Try pairing them up with ethnic oxidised jewellery, pretty meenakari or any kid of jhumkas for a boho look. Or team them up with a denim jacket for a classy yet rugged look.

Found nothing your type above? Oh don't you worry babe, if none of the above basic items suit you, you can always add glam to your look by wearing a different variety of kurta, kurta sets, long tunics paired up with palazzos, culottes and even with long skirts. Make sure you buy or even prefer wearing more summer friendly fabrics to maintain your cool and last, don't forget to smile. Because summers and fashion trends will come and go but this is something that will make you look all glammed up always.

So, keep smiling keep shining!

-Love
