CROSSING THE PATH OF PAST

“Not the power to remember but its very opposite, the power to forget is a necessary condition for our existence” since “forgiving does’t makes the person who hurts you feels better, it makes you feels better.

This morning I woke up before the sun, sitting alone in the still morning air , I watched the first dances of light appears in the dawn sky with some thoughts crossing my mind, thoughts about past sufferings and the role of forgiveness in them.

Some times when we are sitting idle, our thoughts go deep within ourselves and we nearly always discover that much of our suffering in those life has nothing to do with the present moment. Events from our past far too often define us how we feel in the present. The Buddha said ”What is in the past has been left in the past”. We are currently living our present and the past sufferings should be left there and only in the past itself. Why let events from our past control our present.

And once you want to forget and forgive the reasons behind those sufferings you will realize that it is necessary to let things go, simply for the reason they are heavy, so let them go. It simply means that we have to forget our past to live all the fancies of the present world and for that we have to keep one simple thing in our mind that we can’t change our past . It has gone and will never come back. Things will not change but if we forget them we can surely walk forward in our present to change it for the best by removing the heavy weight of some bad memories from our ankles.

Let the present moments define who you are and thus you can find peace in the here and now.
